I'm Connor Hunter, a 17-year-old Australian karting driver born and raised in Sydney. From the first time I saw a race car, I was hooked. That early fascination quickly became a serious ambition: to build a career as a professional racing driver.
My motorsport journey began in sim racing, where I developed my racecraft and competed in events such as the McLaren Logitech G Challenge. Qualifying seventh across the Oceania-Asia region strengthened my determination to take the next step into real-world racing.
I completed my first club-racing laps at Eastern Creek. With the guidance of my coaches and team leader, I have continued challenging myself at circuits throughout New South Wales. Every race is an opportunity to learn, improve and prove what I'm capable of.
Outside motorsport, I competed in rowing, a demanding sport that strengthened my discipline, endurance and ability to perform under pressure. Recovering from two stress fractures in my lower spine tested my resilience and taught me the importance of patience, preparation and consistent improvement. I have carried those lessons into every part of my motorsport journey.
While completing Year 12, I remain fully committed to progressing through the ranks of motorsport. I know the road ahead demands hard work, discipline and resilience, and I'm ready to give it everything I have. This is only the beginning of my journey.
